Side wall heater for passenger compartments

Passenger comfort plays an important role in modern rail vehicles. In cold climates in particular, heat loss through the exterior walls of the train leads to cool surfaces, unpleasant draughts and increased energy consumption for heating.

The side wall heating system from elke TECHNIK is a flat heating solution that has been specially developed for installation in the side walls of rail vehicles. It heats the wall surfaces evenly, thereby reducing heat loss and cold radiation.

  • Flat silicone heating mats for even heat distribution
  • Robust, flexible and easy to install
  • Customized shape and power design
  • Resistant to vibrations, moisture and mechanical stress
  • Integrated temperature controllers or sensors

The side wall heating supports existing heating systems, increases comfort and helps to minimise energy loss through cold surfaces.
