Inception of the Connector line of products, an array of electrical plug Connectors for heavy-duty usage, based on process engineering developed by elke TECHNIK.

1970/1980
Due to very high output figures in tool production and injection moulding production the firm aquires a great number of new clients requiring synthetic mechanical components. Extension of the branches of both thermoplastic and duromer production. Clients are now in a position to be able to obtain very specific implements and synthetic mechanical components from a single source. BARTEC, requiring high-precision synthetic components joins the customer list.

The broad economic crisis and restructuring with many of the key clients entails a radical reorientation for elke TECHNIK.
The production site depends on BARTEC’s purchase orders for its economic survival.

1990/2000
In addition to the already existing Connector line of products a new product line, consisting of silicone based electric heating components is added to the product range.
Products withstanding an enormous amount of strain become the central concern, since clients are manufacturers of railroad engines, tram lines, underground train cars, airplanes, SUVs, and military vehicles.
